The Senior Project Manager reports to the VP of Engineering and contributes to inventions and designs that solve unique technical problems. The talented individual in this highly visible role will lead the design, development and manufacturing launch of new products, product improvements and improved production methods. He or she will recruit and assemble project teams, develop and manage project plans, and continuously improve Design Control Procedures and Project Management best practices. Responsibilities include the management of Design History files that support regulatory submissions. This seasoned Project Manager will work with senior management across all functional groups.
The right individual will have strong problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to lead teams in the generation of creative design and manufacturing process solutions.
- BS or MS in Engineering and 10 or more years of experience in the medical device industry.
- Proven ability to lead medical device projects from concept through commercialization is a must.
- Experience developing catheters for cardiology, neurology, electrophysiology or structural heart applications is strongly desired.
- Excellent communication, organization and planning skills are needed along with the ability to understand the needs of a growing company in the early commercialization stage.
